The purpose of the psychological evaluation is to assess your historical and current emotional and psychological well-being. Structurally, the psychological evaluation consists of the following: (a) a detailed clinical interview, (b) psychological assessment questionnaires that evaluate different aspects of your mental health, and (c) a comprehensive psychological report.
Though the process of each case differs from client to client, the psychological evaluation is generally completed over two two-hour appointments. Alternative meeting options (e.g., meeting over an extended single session) are available, if needed/requested, by you or your immigration attorney.
The standard turnaround time for the completed psychological report is 3-4 weeks from the final appointment date. Expedited report delivery is available for an additional fee.
